NFL’s Charley Casserly Talks Jay Gruden, Desean Jackson, & More!

Former Washington Football Team GM Charley Casserly sat down with Matt and Andrew for the Buz and Ned’s Real BBQ Mid Day Show. He spoke candidly about Jay Gruden as head coach, noting that most coaches fail because they don’t make changes. “It’s hard to hire a staff and get it right the first time,” says Casserly.

Enthusiastic about the new season, Casserly forecasts that we will see more balls downfield. The difference between this coming season and last year.

All eyes are on the Tamp Bay Buccaneers, and Casserly agrees that they are the team to watch — especially now that Desean Jackson has the cash. He played hard at the end of the year for the contract. “Let’s see how he plays now that he’s got the money.”
